Diamond Dotz

My Aunty (mum’s sister) comes to visit us once or twice a year now since my dad passed away. She always bares us gifts. She likes to bring us all little trinkets, arts and crafty things, books, puzzles, spiritual things, clothes etc… She is a woman of diversity.
She knows I love crafty stuff. I take after my grandma with her crafty side. I love cross stitching, knitting and making things.
On my Aunt’s last trip here, she bought me 2 diamond dotz. One was a small love heart and the other was a giant sunflower. I had never seen or heard of them before but they looked interesting.
I started on the love heart first. I found myself so relaxed while doing it. I didn’t want to stop.
I finished it in 3 hours. It would have been sooner but I had to make dinner in between.
I got started on the sun flower the next day. Having kids and errands to run do make it a little difficult to sit at these crafty things but I got it done over a few days. I was so hooked that my Aunty bought me another 4 of them… and so began an addiction as I watched my nails grow long and strong. I had always been a nail biter but diamond dotz seemed to keep me distracted and de stressed.
I am now onto my 14th diamond dotz with another 14 on the way – I bought the entire disney series!!!
I have absolutely no purpose for these beautiful works of art other than they’ve become an addiction for spare time when i’m bored. I don’t even know what I’m going to do with them all but in the mean time, I have long finger nails. :))))

Here is a list of all the work I’ve done so far, including a wolf that I am currently working on.
